About Me

I’m Erin Eileen O’Neill, a journalist turned IT communications professional. I work for Rowan University, where I manage internal communications for the Division of Information Resources & Technology.

I’m focused on connecting people with information about technology systems and services. From translating technical jargon to creating visual guides to complex information, my goal is to clearly and concisely communicate technical concepts to a general audience.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in English literature from Stockton University in 2007 and my master’s degree in journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in 2008. I hold Certificates of Graduate Study in Management of Information Systems and Integrated Marketing Communication and New Media from Rowan University.

I also serve on the board of the Nick Virgilio Haiku Association, a nonprofit organization in the Waterfront South neighborhood in Camden. The organization is dedicated to the creative and mindful exercise of the written word in all forms, but especially haiku and related forms of poetry.

I live in the Cooper Grant neighborhood of Camden with my husband, son and dog.
